Author event with co-author Robin Kelleher

(with cameo by co-author Lina)

Monday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m.

In 2014, Robin Kelleher adopted a dog.  She had never been the sole parent of a dog before and soon hit some ruff patches.  Somehow, though, she and her little Aussie, Lina, muddled through.  Soon after her abduction, as Lina puts it, she began recounting tails of a fur-raising life with her beginner Momma in Lina’s Dog Blog.

Two books, and three national awards followed. Lina Unleashed was nameda Foreword INDIES 2017 Book of the Year award winner. In 2020, Sit Stay Pray won an IBPA Benjamin Franklin award and was named a runner up by National Indie Excellence Awards.  Lina’s tails of her calamity-filled life with a ditzy momma are sure to tickle your funny bone.  WOOFDA!

You may purchase Lina Unleashed here and Sit Stay Pray here.  Or contact Robin at robink822@gmail.com for pawdographed copies.

Robin and Lina's bio

Lina is a six-year-old Toy Australian Shepherd who hails from Florida. She is an acclaimed author, blogger and keen observer of human behavior.

When Lina is not busy writing, she enjoys chasing balls, performing tricks, practicing her agility skills, and playing with her furry friends. She is even an accomplished herder. She does not enjoy being in any ocean, lake, river, stream, the rain or even wet grass. Unfortunately for Lina, she and her human, Robin Kelleher, divide their time between Minnesota, Land of 10,000 Lakes, and Marco Island, one of the Ten Thousand Islands of Florida.

Lina’s momma and co-author, a Minnesota native, is a retired labor and employment law attorney, but her work and interests are wide and varied. Robin was formerly a music teacher and realtor, and now works with a public policy law firm in Minneapolis.  Robin loves to golf, paddleboard, travel, read, write and tend to her herb garden. (She used to ski, fly and scuba dive until she lost her nerve.)  Robin also tends to Lina who tends to think her momma is a little ditzy.
