Louis Schmidt has captured the untold and often harrowing stories of countless Holocaust survivors. He will share his experiences with the Shoah Foundation, offering a unique perspective that is completely different from other Holocaust presentations. After weeks of vigorous training, he was chosen to become an official interviewer of Holocaust survivors. He will discuss his intensive training and his profoundly meaningful personal experience conducting interviews.

Louis Schmidt started his career in the 1960s as a reporter at Look magazine, then became a Senior Producer for the NFL where he won three Emmy and four Ace Awards and was the recipient of the silver medal from the International Film and Television Festival of New York.
